About Mejuri
I own beautiful, fine jewellery… it just sits in a box on my dresser and is never seen – except on the rare occasion that I do something special that warrants wearing it. Mejuri was the first (and only) to make me question why I, and so many others, do this.
Why would I hide my favourite pieces for special occasions when life is the special event? Mejuri makes fine jewellery for every occasion – whether it’s for lounging, a coffee or a presentation. The line of feel-good pieces is a mood in itself, a celebration of life.
Canadian e-commerce jewellery shop Mejuri has quickly made a name for itself as a conscious creator in a market flooded with low-quality and outrageously expensive pieces.
Jewellery lovers rejoice in the practices that empower women and help the earth, at a reasonable price. Just ask any of its 2 million-plus followers on social media or read one of the many articles in popular publications like Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.
In this Mejuri jewellery review, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the brand before you buy. From the company itself to its bestsellers and, of course, the feedback – I’ll leave no (ethical) stone unturned. Let’s dive in.
Overview of Mejuri
Let me ask you this: do you really want to wait what feels like a millennium for your first cousin’s wedding to finally adorn yourself with the spectacular sterling silver necklace you’ve always wanted to wear?
You deserve more and better, so it’s high time to treat yourself to affordable luxury. Mejuri has just the thing.
Noura Sakkijha, CEO of Mejuri, worked as an engineer for years before founding the brand in 2013. Her creative and technical vision inspired her to find expert manufacturers to handcraft the jewellery with care and precision.
To this day, Mejuri works with a direct-to-consumer business model, creating the finest accessories at an affordable price for its customers. I’m a big fan of brands that work this way, but I love this brand even more because of its mission: to help women celebrate themselves.
Mejuri is shifting the dynamic of jewellery buying from ‘men giving women gifts’ to ‘women giving themselves gifts’ – and that’s pretty remarkable if you ask me.
Mejuri Instagram Rise
During my research for this report on Mejuri jewellery, I learned that Sakkijha built Mejuri as an e-commerce and Instagram business before it became a retail shop in 2018.
On Instagram, it’s the tech-savvy millennials who become aware of Mejuri through adverts and recommendations from friends. That’s also how I first heard about the brand.
As I scroll through the feed, I can’t help but drool over glamorous pieces that are admittedly beyond my budget.
When I saw the prices, my jaw dropped, the angels sang and life was grand. But this isn’t even my favourite part of Mejuri. As soon as I landed on the website, I fell in love with what the brand is all about.
Aside from the fresh, contemporary and accessible styles, I love that the brand works towards a sustainable supply chain, uses responsibly sourced diamonds and opts for recycled gold where possible.
Is there anything not to love about this brand? Spoiler alert: No. To keep the good vibes going in this Mejuri jewellery review, I’ll take a look at the highlights next.

Are you ready to dive into this glittering collection? In this Mejuri jewellery review, I introduce you to a range of delicate necklaces, sweet earrings and dainty rings.
Mejuri Earrings Review
Mejuri Oversized Thin Hoops – My FAVE Mejuri earrings
These are perhaps my favourite earrings. The Mejuri Oversized Thin Hoops are made from 14k yellow gold and are very lightweight. They are subtle and professional and are great for everyday wear at work, casual wear or special occasions.
As I have a mixed skin tone, these 2mm thick hoops always look like a complement to my tanned, freckled face.
The large hoop diameter of 52mm makes them easy to find if you ever lose them around the house, and people are sure to notice them and compliment you on your exquisite taste in jewellery.
At $355, the Mejuri Oversized Thin Hoops are a staple that every lady should have in her jewellery box.
Mejuri Ring Review
Mejuri signet ring
The smooth, flat surface of this Mejuri ring has been recognised for centuries and will fall into your hands (or rather, onto your finger). It’s a statement look, and I love the ability to personalise it.
If you opt for 14-karat yellow gold or white gold, you can have your initials engraved in the centre of the 8 mm diameter, 6 mm high oval to give the ring your personal touch. It’s thin, flattering and subtly beautiful for $245.
Mejuri Jewelry Case Review
Aahhh! Could the Mejuri jewellery box be any cuter? With its smooth, grained leather surface, I can easily imagine it adorning my dresser in a soft beige tone or an upbeat black.
There are three compartments inside, all specially designed for your fine or semi-fine jewellery. The interior lining is made from tarnish-resistant suede, which helps to keep your jewellery in pristine condition.
If you really want to and your heart is crying out for it, you have the option of personalising the jewellery box with up to three monogram letters
While reviewing this piece of Mejuri jewelry, I noticed that on the brand’s website, there is an example of the monogram letters with the word “YES” scrawled across the front. To me, this means saying “yes” to life and only filling it with pieces that my heart calls for. For $195, I will guard it with my life.
Mejuri travel pouch – My FAVE lifestyle product
I travel with my jewelry in the coin pocket of my wallet. No doubt a terrible place for it, but in the absence of any other option, I’ve resigned myself to it. Here’s that option, and honestly, it’s great.
Imagine taking the Mejuri jewelry box in your hand and squeezing it down to its smallest element – thus creating the Mejuri travel case. Admire the four chain hooks with six pocket holes for earrings and the ring holder measuring 0.5 x 2 inches.
The Mejuri travel case, which costs 110 dollars, is extremely compact. It fits easily into a purse, luggage and this Mejuri jewelry review. There are two exterior leather options for the travel case: grained leather in black or beige.
Is Mejuri Jewelry Good?
A legitimate question, no doubt. To me, the value of Mejuri jewelry seems reasonable based on its price and overall quality. The exceptional makers are committed to ethical practices and handcraft with the finest materials – this also helps them score points.
Plus, Mejuri puts the consumer first, and since the products are shipped directly to them, you avoid markups that make your favorite pieces ten times more expensive. Precious metals, chains and gemstones are used for the jewelry. The gemstones, including diamonds, sapphires, citrines and pearls, are of very high quality and will last for many years, especially if you look after them properly.
From what I have seen so far, I can confidently say that Mejuri jewelry is good. But let’s see what customers have to say.
The majority of customers on Mejuri’s website rave about the sleek and minimalist styles that are amazingly graceful and perfect for constant wear. These loyal customers even go a step further and recommend Mejuri to close friends and family members, further enhancing the buying experience.
On the other hand, some Mejuri reviews express skepticism about the quality and whether the jewelry can really stand the test of time without showing obvious discoloration or deformation.
Outside of the Mejuri website, others have agreed. Some have also had technical issues with the jewelry, but I am happy to report in this Mejuri jewelry review that while these things are unfortunate, they are also uncommon.
Mejuri Promotions & Discounts
For this review of Mejuri jewelry, I looked around for deals from the brand. Right now, the brand is offering free shipping and extended returns (no Mejuri coupon code required) at select locations.
To receive a 10% Mejuri coupon for your next order, sign up for the mailing list. This will also keep you up to date on the latest offers.
Want more? The brand recommends checking their website for a Mejuri discount code that might pop up. I found that while there is no Mejuri sale section, you can find pieces at great prices from time to time.
While there is no Mejuri promo code, the brand does offer a 2-year guarantee on all of their products. To me, that’s a pretty good deal.
Mejuri Black Friday
Although Black Friday still seems light years away, Mejuri isn’t holding back when it comes to giving customers what they want at lower prices.
Judging by the Mejuri Black Friday deals so far, it looks like Mejuri is offering discounts between 10% and 30%. It’s like the gods are smiling at us with open hands, ready to give, give, give! And I’m happy to take it.
FAQ
Where to Buy Mejuri
Mejuri jewelry can be purchased through the website mejuri.com or in one of their retail stores in Toronto or New York. I personally love buying jewelry online, but there’s something to be said for trying on a piece before you buy it – just be prepared to fall in love.
Mejuri shipping conditions
Mejuri ships to Canada, the USA, Europe, Australia and other countries (see website). Each country has different shipping costs, for example, orders over $100 are free shipping in Canada or $5 flat rate for express shipping. Orders under $100 cost a flat rate of $10 for express shipping or $15 for express shipping in Canada.
I’ve found that the same shipping rates apply in the US as in Canada, while in other countries you have to spend a little more to get the beautiful items you’ve been waiting for.
In this part of my Mejuri jewelry review, I must point out that shipping processing times depend on what you order and what the status of each product is (backordered, on order, or in stock). You can find the estimated shipping date in your Mejuri profile and in the confirmation email once your order has been received.
Mejuri return policy
Returning Mejuri is free within 30 days in Canada, Australia and the USA. However, you must ensure that all original labels and packaging are still intact and that the jewelry itself shows no signs of wear.
What cannot be exchanged or returned? Engraved pieces – just so you know, dear reader. To start the return process, you need to:
Log in to your Mejuri profile account
Select “My returns”.
From there, you will be guided through the steps to select the item and create the return labels.
