Dyper is a direct-to-consumer sustainable nappy and panty brand offering compostable bamboo nappies that are better for your baby, the planet and your wallet.

In addition to high praise from parents, Dyper has over 78,000 followers on Instagram and has been featured in GreenBiz, Fast Company, The New York Post and The Verge.
This Dyper nappy review takes a look at the brand, its products, customer reviews, promotions and more to help you decide if Dyper products are worth buying.
Overview of Dyper
Dyper was founded in 2014 by Sergio Radovcic as a solution to the problems he faced as a father using regular nappies from the drugstore. His vision was to create a nappy company that would alleviate the stress of running out of nappies while keeping sustainability in mind. No waste, no nappy rash and less stress for parents.
Dyper is committed to being a transparent company by disclosing every element involved in the production of its nappies. All information is available to parents on Dyper.com, where customers can find out all the details of Dyper’s ingredients, absorbency, fit and construction of the nappies.
Dypers are free from chlorine, latex, alcohol, lotions, TBT and phthalates. They are also certified to OEKO TEX Standard 100. Dyper products are unscented, soft, durable and absorbent.
The nappies are made from viscose fibres from responsibly grown bamboo and can be returned via the Dyper ReDyper service. The company is so committed to providing an environmentally friendly service that it even purchases CO2 offsets with every delivery.

Dyper’s subscription service delivers eco-friendly nappies straight to your door, along with everything you need to keep your baby carefree and happy.
With a variety of plans for their Dyper, Dyper X and Briefs, your plan will grow with your little one to see them through to underwear. In this review of Dyper nappies, we’ll now take a closer look at the subscription service and the products on offer.
How Does Dyper Work?
Dyper offers three subscription plans for parents. The options for the frequency of delivery and the number of nappies or briefs are the same for each subscription. Parents can choose from three different products: Nappy, Nappy X or Briefs.
This review of Dyper nappies points out that the brand was designed as a subscription to make it easier for parents, but you can also buy individual products. But if you take out a subscription, you have the opportunity to save 15%.
You can buy your Dyper products in quantities of:
- 4 sleeves (224 nappies) This is the most popular subscription and is delivered free of charge.
- 3 sleeves (168 nappies)
- 2 sleeves (112 nappies)
- 1 sleeve (56 nappies)
The sizes for each product vary and this Dyper nappies review will cover this in the next section. The brand recommends that you choose one size larger if you don’t know your baby’s size. You have the option to add Dyper wet wipes, nappy cream and the ReDyper service to your subscription order.
When you choose the frequency of your subscription, you have the option to receive your nappies every 2, 3, 4, 8 or 12 weeks. Start your subscription today or order your products at a later date.
You can also cancel your subscription at any time without incurring a penalty.
One of the advantages of a subscription is that you know exactly how much your nappies will cost that month. If you place an order and find that you need less, you can adjust your order for the next month to a smaller amount of nappies.
Your Dyper subscription will change as your baby grows. Artificial intelligence estimates the exact size and quantity of nappies you need based on your child’s age. If your order is incorrect, Dyper will send you a replacement order within four hours.
How to use Dyper:
You will find your Dyper Welcome Kit with nappies neatly packed and pre-folded. Do not open the bag until you are ready to use them, as the humidity in the air can start the degradation process early.
Check the nappy for any defects after opening.
Smooth out the folds of the nappy with your fingers. Massage out any creases or lumps in the SAP absorbent layer. This can sometimes become tangled during transport.
When you put the nappy on your baby, run your finger along the leg opening to activate the leg protection. This protects against unexpected leakage from the legs.
Check the wetness indicator on the outside of the nappy throughout the day.
In this Dyper nappy test, the subscription plans for the nappy, the nappy X and the briefs are now presented.
Dyper Diaper Subscription Review

This is Dyper’s most popular subscription. These diapers ensure that your child is comfortable, happy and dry all day long.
The diaper subscription offers Newborn, Small, Medium, Large and XL sizes. Your plan will evolve as your baby grows, so you’ll always have the right diaper size conveniently on hand.
Below you will find an overview of the size and quantity of diapers included in the diaper subscription. These are based on the weight of your child.

Dyper Diaper X Subscription Review

Diaper X gives parents peace of mind that their little ones won’t leak. These diapers are made from the same materials as the Diaper, but are extra wide for maximum absorption and leakage protection.

Diaper X sizes and quantities are recommended for the following weight ranges:
- Medium (13-22 lbs): 184 diapers
- Large (20-29 lbs): 144 diapers
- Extra large (26-35 lbs): 120 diapers
Dyper Briefs Subscription Review

These pull-on briefs feel more like “yoga pants”. This type of comfort is what this Dyper diaper review believes all moms can attest to. They prepare your baby for all the beginner yoga moves they often find themselves in, namely child’s pose, and stay snug during all activities.
The Briefs are made from the same skin-friendly materials as the regular diapers and are perfect for potty training and active children.
They are available in Medium, Large, XL and XXL sizes and each bag contains 25 briefs. Dyper recommends the following sizes for your child’s weight:

Dyper Diapers Reviews: What Do Customers Think?
This Dyper diaper review now features some customer reviews on the brand’s website, Reddit and Three Thrifty Guys that describe their experiences with Dyper products.
The reviews on Dyper.com are overwhelmingly positive, with 6,461 customers rating the brand an average of 4.8/5 stars. The Dyper reviews on the website rave about the brand’s customer service and quality.
This 5-star review says: “The diapers are fantastic. I think they are better than honest diapers… what I love most about this company is their customer service and how much they care.”
On the other hand, one customer who does not recommend Dyper claims that the diapers leak. According to this mom, “I’ve had more leaks with these diapers than with Pampers or Huggies…. We can’t even go 5 hours into the night without a leak.”
Dyper reviews Reddit users say they love the brand for its ReDyper service and eco-friendliness. “They are disposable diapers but more environmentally friendly…. The reason I use them… Is that they offer an additional service called ReDyper”.
A negative review on Reddit criticized the diapers‘ low absorption and the effort required to compost them. “They … don’t absorb as much as we need. We liked that they are compostable, but we learned that you have to do a lot of prep work.”
One mom on Three Thrifty Guys tried the Dyper diapers for her daughter and liked that the products are odor-resistant and don’t leak. She said that there were “no odors…. my girl didn’t get a diaper rash” and only had ‘three blowouts’ (in this Dyper diaper test, this means serious leakage).
Are Dyper Diapers Worth It?
This Dyper diapers review will note here that there are not many Dyper reviews online. The brand’s website has several positive reviews and a high rating.
Reviews found beyond the website admire Dyper’s eco-friendly mission and soft feel, although some parents dislike that the diapers feel wet when full (which is stated on the official website).
Dyper claims that the products feel wet on the outside because the fabric wicks moisture from the inside out to keep your baby more comfortable.
They also have a wetness indicator strip so you know exactly when your baby needs a change. Dyper states that its products offer a high level of leakage protection, which is of course very important. However, some reviews claim the opposite, compared to traditional diaper brands.
In this review of Dyper diapers, it is considered that traditional brands are not environmentally friendly or as safe for your baby. Even though there are few technical issues with Dyper diapers, you should keep an open mind when switching to an eco-friendly product to find the best one for your baby.
This review of Dyper diapers is of the opinion that the products are worth buying. If you’re skeptical, you can try the Dyper trial, which allows you to return unopened products at any time.

FAQ
Where are Dyper diapers made?
No information on where the products are made could be found in this Dyper diaper test, but they are made from 100% sustainably sourced bamboo.
Are Dyper diapers biodegradable?
Dyper diapers are oxo-degradable, which means that their products degrade under UV light and heat. The brand offers a ReDyper service that allows you to send in used diapers for composting. There is an additional fee of $39 for this service.
How many diapers do you get with Dyper?
That depends on the quantity and type (diaper, diaper X, briefs) you want to purchase. A pack of Diaper contains 56 diapers, a pack of Diaper X contains 36 diapers and a pack of Briefs contains 25 pairs.
The monthly diaper subscription is the most popular option, and with this selection you will receive 224 diapers. For the Diaper XL you get 144 diapers and for the Briefs 100 pairs.
How can you compost Dyper at home?
The diapers are not intended to be composted at home. The brand will provide you with bags, boxes and prepaid shipping labels to send your used diapers to a TerraCycle location that will deliver them to a composting facility.
How can I cancel my Dyper subscription?
To cancel your Dyper subscription, log in to Dyper.com/profile. You can cancel your subscription at any time.
What is Dyper’s shipping policy?
Dyper orders are shipped within 2-3 business days after the order is placed. The brand recommends placing the order Monday through Thursday to avoid delays on weekends. This is because the warehouse does not ship on weekends. The same shipping times apply to Dyper gift orders, but you can also arrange a later delivery date.
Shipping for Dyper’s monthly box is free. Shipping is $7 for an order of three pods, $6 for two pods and $5 for one pod.
Unfortunately, Dyper Canada customers are out of luck, as the brand only ships within the U.S. and not internationally.
What is Dyper’s return policy?
Dyper offers a convenient return policy that means you can return your diaper products at any time for a full refund. You can return your order if it is unopened and in its original packaging. If you return your order and the company determines that it is in an unsaleable condition, they may refuse to issue a refund.
When you initiate your return, Dyper will send you either a prepaid return label or a scannable QR code. If you receive your return and it is in acceptable condition, your refund will be credited back to your original method of payment. This process can take approximately 3-5 business days.
